how else do you celebrate?
Last week we celebrated the end of the quarter, and what better way than the traditional stand up comedy night? A group of mostly hilarious, sometimes awkward, 4th quarter students put on a good show.
It was a great show to watch, but at some point in the night all of us 1st quarter students looked at each other with wide eyes with the realization that before we know it, it will be us up on that stage. Yes, I am definitely nervous. However, I know I’ll be in good company, so I guess I’ll be okay.
With the end of quarter party, came end of quarter reviews. Just like the stand up, I had no idea what to expect. However, I left feeling encouraged and ready to push on. Time to work better and harder, in Royal Rumble and in the next quarter.
But before that, I’ve got the HOW Design Live conference. I’m going to try to tweet as much as possible during the event (you can follow me, on my personal account which has no affiliation with the school, at @erinichristine). And assuming I don’t get too wrapped up in all the design-nerdiness, check back here next week for a vlog on the event. I spent two days putting together swag bags for the event with 3 other students, and despite the paper cuts and exhaustion… I’m super excited.
