Chicago Portfolio School is offering two online workshops this Spring in Creative Advertising and Strategy! Strengthen your skills and make a quick portfolio-worthy piece! 

Classes are 8 weeks, and consist of both lectures and critiques of weekly assignments. The workshops start the week of March 29th! Last day to sign up is March 24th.

  • Starting Your Portfolio

    Take a deep dive into solving problems for brands, learn how to change the behavior of consumers, think of big ideas that resonate, and leave with portfolio-worthy creative pieces.‎
    Instructor Gary Fox Robertson (affectionally known as “GFR”) has been a Creative Director for more years than he’d admit, making award-winning campaigns for Nintendo, McDonald’s, Samsung, The Army, Allstate, Commonwealth Edison, etc. His “Sundial” billboard for McDonald’s was inducted into the Clio Hall of Fame.‎

  • Brand Strategy

    Interested in breaking into account planning or strategy? You’ll need portfolio pieces that showcase your creative problem solving. This 8-week course will help you improve your skills in market research, cultural analysis, forecasting, finding insights and creating briefs, and will provide you with samples that show you can help a brand craft its story.
    Instructor Caitlin Cody puts a Brand-Planning lens on Brand, Digital, CRM and Shopper clients. She leads brand strategy for Mizkan brands (RAGÚ, Bertolli sauces, Mizkan, Nakano, Holland House, Angostura Bitters), and leads digital strategy for ALDI.
